How I Accomplish Every Goal Using These 3 Simple Ideas

We have ideas and goals that come to us everyday.  Sometimes we attempt to make them a reality, others we throw them away without even thinking twice.  Every idea that we have could potentially be worth millions of dollars, so why do so many of us not act upon our greatness?

One: IMAGINE

I think most of us have mastered this.  Whether it’s a change in career, a new car, or a goal that we have it’s easy to imagine what that might look like. Imagining the things that we want isn’t what’s challenging.  Having an idea is important, but how we treat it matters even more. For most of us this is as far as we allow ourselves to get in the process.

Two: BELIEVE

Believe, believe, believe.  This is the most important step in achieving anything that we want.  We don’t believe in ourselves and our ability to conquer any task.  I often say that if people believed in themselves as much as I believed in them there would be a lot more people accomplishing their goals.

Believing involves visualizing exactly what it is that we want, and how it feels when we get it.  Money, fame or success, whatever it is we need to believe that what we’re imagining can, must, and will become our reality.  And it can will happen.  The only difference between average people and successful people is that successful people believe that they can be successful.  Average people will talk themselves out of an idea before ever even trying.

Three: ACHIEVE

Imagine and believe,  and you’re guaranteed to achieve any goal in one way or another.  That’s the simple secret.  When we spend our time imagining and believing things we automatically begin to put in the work.  The more thought and work we put into something, the more our ideas will germinate.  Until eventually they are fully bloomed.

Be passionate in all that we do

I’m a passionate human being, and very realistic.  Everything in my life has happened exactly how I allowed for it to happen.  When I was dealing with darkness I imagined what it would look like once it ended.  I believed that I would live that vision, and each time I achieved it.

The same is true for the goals that I set for myself.  Here are a few tips that will always work when precisely followed.

  • I write down my ideas and goals
  • I read what I write down at least 2x a day
  • When I’m reading it I visualize what it feels like to have the things I am seeking and I become excited inside.
  • I think about it constantly.  At times I’m obsessed with it
  • I always stay focused on where I am going no matter what

Following these simple steps and being disciplined enough to alway keep moving forward has allowed me to do some pretty amazing things.  Our only limits are the ones we set within ourselves.  We get one life.  Our level of enjoyment depends totally on us.

What goals and ideas do you have that are waiting to be watered by you?

  1. I really like this post! I have lots of goals that I keep dreaming up for my own blog, or just for my future in general, and then I feel overwhelmed or nervous. I like how simple this makes it, though, imagine, believe and achieve! It’s so simple and easy 🙂

    1. Thank you! I know the feeling about overcoming challenges. I just finished writing about something similar. I’ll post it Monday. Would you like to read it? I like getting feedback before I post when I can.
